air asia is the best low cost airline ever!!

why did i make the above statement??
bcs today we booked our ever first Ryan Airline(low cost airline in UK) Ticket to London in July..
and..................
..................
...........
....

few days back,
we saw Ryan airline had a very good promotion of flying london at only 6.50 pounds one way..
yesterday, it went down to 6 pounds..
well..
and today it's FIVE pounds!!
we were OF COURSE attracted!!

and what made the situation more excited is
we tried to book 20 tickets (just to test the availability of the tickets)
and we realised that only left 16 tickets!!
so without much hesitation
we started to gather everyone and decided to book tickets for 14 people..

and...
first time, Renly tried..
but at the very last page, ERROR OCCURED!!
we didnt get the confirmation number!!
so we panic!!
shit!
we might lose the CHEAP tickets..
so we tried again at another laptop (thinking maybe the browser got prob)
and also asked Jean and Sher to try..
well...
our second attemp failed again!!
and got the warning of
"DO NOT TRY TO DO DOUBLE BOOKING, ............................NON-REFUNDABLE!"
i was so kam cheong that i only remember the key words, NO DOUBLE BOOK! NON-REFUNDABLE!!
NOOOO
sh*t!
dun tell me they charge me twice!!
so i quickly checked my balance..
unfortunately i was not very clear about how to check it..
so a few moments of "kelam-kabut-ness" a.k.a chaos

and i realised that i've been charged 70 pounds!!!
meaning 10 pounds per person (as we did booking for 7 people, supposingly 5x7=35)

"NO! did they really charge twice??!!"
"but we didnt get confirmation number!!!"
"no! they cant charge us like that!!"
"they should do like AIR ASIA!! only charge after we've confirmed with our flight!!"

(this was where the AIR ASIA topic came in.. =P)
"this is NOT RIGHT!!!"

another round of kelam-kabut...
i felt so sad looking at my account kena deducted..
and cursing Ryan air at the same time..
everyone was consolling me..
and started offering to pay for the extra..
and cursed ryan air with me at the same time.. =P
warmth finally overwhelmed the sadness..

few moments later..
i asked B about it..
did he experience anything like that before? (since he seems to have all weird problems sometimes.. =P)
and thanks to him,
we found our itinerary!!

WE ARE FLYING TO LONDON!!

but......
we were also charged another 5 pounds on top of air ticket due to handling fees!!
so total for 7 people is REALLY 70 pounds.. =(

the moral of the story is :
dont be over-excited/over-sad over promotion in ryan air.. but READ CAREFULLY on the EXTRA charges!!

and cherish and love all the FRIENDS around you..
they will be the one beside u when u r in trouble.. especially here and now in Glasgow..
FAR far away from home and family..

and..
we hope that ryan air can learn from Air Asia...
as for AA, they asked SEVERAL timeS before we actually confirm our payment, then only charge us! (u might think it is annoying, but it has a VALID GOOD reason for that... now that we realised...)
